nu, I'll explain why I can’t explain it. This smallest possible word
contains a multitude of possible meanings, for example: So?, What's new?,
Well?, How are you?, You're still here?, Can I get an answer from you?, Hurry
up!, What am I supposed to do?, Anyhow …
A greeting might sound like this: "nu?" – "nu…"
– "nu!" – "nu…"
This could be translated as "How are you?" – "Well, what
do you expect?" – "It’s going to be okay!" –
"We’ll see."
"nu" is often found at the beginning of a sentence if the intention
is to salvage an unsolvable situation: "Make a decision now in favor
of one of the two alternatives!" "nu, I’ll choose the third."
"nu" is philosophy in the smallest possible space.
